 Norm had a passion for the mechanical side of the world we live in. As a tribute to him, these pages 
are presented. Few actual photos of Norm’s vehicles are available, but thanks to the web we can recreate 
their images. The other pages are modern developments of the things he inspired in his offspring.

Early Driving Conditions

the first cars needed the first paved roads

When Norm began to drive there were no licenses, insurance or safety belts. Even 
the roads left a lot to be desired. He had a great interest in bicycles and later in cars. He began 
driving at the age of 14 in vehicles that can only be imagined because few pictures remain.
