The first stage of the transformation has taken place. Still needed are the pontoons and supports for them.
Also the sail area was small although the boat still felt a bit scary in a gust.
A new mast and boom will be installed next season together with a new sail.
Still the wood and the varnish make this kayak a real beauty to behold although slower than the plastic type.
The Stand shown at pix012 can receive the boat upright or inverted and both cranks up and tilts which is very handy.
